Psalm 24
In one of my recent posts titled Questions that need answers I was asking myself questions regarding my walk as a Christian on earth and basically who I am in relation to "God's" purpose. During devotion on Saturday I read Psalm 24 and I was so impressed at how David so clearly defines what should be the answers to all those questions. Reading this has come with its own revelation of Who God is, His measure (the air I breath) and sovereignty and Who He expects me to be. It may sound sweet or even fancy but truth is, its a journey that will come with sure hurdles. I love how He also assures us of what we then receive from Him. Sheeeesh, now feel like I'm bubbling, rather I'm struggling to use words to explain what's going on in my head right now.
Listen to what David then says: Psalm 24: 1 THE EARTH is the Lord’s, and the fullness of it, the world and they who dwell in it. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the currents and the rivers. 3 Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]!
I pray and trust that you have received something from this hey! X0x0
